• Because the spatulas are made from natural hinoki, there are slight differences in the wood grain patterns and colour. 

• Please note: Hinoki contains a high concentration of natural oils and resin, which are responsible for its unique fragrance and antimicrobial properties. You may occasionally notice small sticky beads or a light sheen on the surface, especially when the product is new or exposed to warmth.
  
  This is a completely natural characteristic of the wood, and does not affect safety or performance, rather a sign that it is high-quality, natural wood.
  
  If any oil appears, simply wipe it away with a clean cloth and allow the item to air dry. The amount will naturally decrease over time with regular use.
  
  These natural oils are part of what makes hinoki uniquely valued.
