Aderia Retro Footed Glass - Hananwa

This retro style glass is a remake of the original Aderia glassware from the Showa period (1926 – 1989). 

 

Designer Hikaru Sugimoto revived these glassware designs, leading to the launch of the "Aderia Retro (アデリアレトロ)" brand today, produced by Ishizuka Glass Co (established in 1819).

 

The revived Aderia glassware not only recreates the prints, but also the paint smudges of the originals.

 

• The Hananwa「花の輪」 design was first launched in 1976. Back then, the pattern was printed on clear blueglass. 
• This design features a delightful blue and white floral wreath pattern. With small and big flowers surrounding the glass, it creates a wavy, moving impression. 
• Perfect for a refreshing cold drink or a parfait in summer.
