Featuring the Kikyō the Japanese bellflower, which is Kamon (family crest) of Mitsuhide Akechi (明智光秀 1528 – 1582), a Japanese samurai general of the Sengoku period (戦国時代 1467 – 1615).
He is said to have been born in Mino Province (美濃国), which located in what is now the Gifu Prefecture of Japan.
