Ingredients, udon noodles, onion, carrot, shiitake mushrooms, cabbage, pork, beef, chicken, seafood, soy sauce, sake, sugar, salt, pepper, katsuobushi

Yaki Udon (Stir Fried Udon Noodles) 焼きうどん


1. Cut the onion, carrot, and mushrooms into slices, and cut cabbage into pieces. Blanch udon noodles till they loosen up. Then rinse with cold water.


2. Stir fry the meat of your choice.


3. Add the vegetables and stir fry till they are all coated in oil and slightly wilted.


4. Add the udon noodles and seasonings, and mix well.


(Optional) Garnish with katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) on top to add more flavours.
