Korean-style Mixed Vegetables Salad 三色ナムル
1. Julienne (cut into matchstick-shaped pieces) carrots. See video below.
2. Boil bean sprouts for 30 seconds. Wilt spinach by blanching the leaves for 30 seconds. Wash both vegetables with cold water to prevent the remaining heat from cooking them. Squeeze the excess water out of the spinach.
3. Combine carrots, bean sprouts, spinach and all the seasonings and mix well.
4. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container and put in the fridge for up to 3 days.
ナムル (namul) originates from Korea, not a Japanese dish, but it’s a very popular meal prep dish in Japan.
