Deep fried mackerel with sweet and sour sauce 鯖の竜田揚げ
1. Cut each mackerel fillet into five pieces. Marinate the mackerel with grated ginger, soy sauce, and sake for 15 minutes.
2. Mince spring onion; combine it with rice vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and white sesame.
3. Coat the mackerel pieces with potato starch.
4. Deep fry the mackerel. Serve with the sauce from step 2.
